Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in bulk materials handling to join our engineering team and contribute to innovative efficient solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize mechanical systems for bulk materials handling including conveyors hoppers crushers feeders and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct detailed mechanical analyses including stress thermal and dynamic load calculations.
- Perform system design reviews including 3D modeling prototyping and testing.
- Oversee the installation commissioning and maintenance of materials handling systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in all designs and implementations.
- Provide technical support during the construction installation and maintenance phases of bulk material handling systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in existing systems to improve reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (electrical civil etc. to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Monitor and analyze system performance to propose improvements or upgrades.
- Work closely with clients suppliers and project teams to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in bulk materials handling including system design installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of bulk materials handling equipment (e.g. conveyors crushers stackers and reclaimers).
- Experience with mechanical design software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar.
- Knowledge of industry standards codes and regulations related to bulk materials handling.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
