Job Description
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join an Outstanding Girls school in Harrow starting in September. This is a fulltime permanent position for a dedicated Art Teacher to inspire artistic expression across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations in Art.
- Develop students artistic skills techniques and understanding of different art forms.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback as an Art Teacher.
- Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular art activities.
- Uphold the schools ethos of teamwork and support as a valued Art Teacher.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
- Proven experience in teaching Art at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of various art mediums and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as an Art Teacher.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Art.
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
