Job Description
Our client in the Technology Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector is seeking an accomplished Finance Director to lead its financial strategy and operations. This pivotal role is based in the Netherlands and offers a unique opportunity to drive financial excellence in a fastpaced and innovative environment. Candidates with prior experience in fintech or operations within the Africa region will have a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the organizations business goals.
Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights influencing key business decisions.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial analysis to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Deliver accurate financial reports and insights to stakeholders.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements including local and international standards.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Operational Efficiency:
Drive cost management initiatives and optimize financial processes.
Monitor financial systems and implement technological advancements for better efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with investors auditors and external financial institutions.
Represent the company in negotiations financial reviews and strategic partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
Minimum 15 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles.
Proven track record in managing complex financial operations in multinational environments.
Experience in fintech or technology is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the Netherlands.
Exceptional leadership analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
