Join our culinary team as a Commis 1 (Cold Kitchen) at our prestigious establishment in Mai Khao Thailand. We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient individual to assist in the preparation of cold dishes appetizers and salads. As a key member of our kitchen brigade you will work collaboratively with other chefs to ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
- Assist in the preparation of cold dishes including salads appetizers sandwiches and other cold items
- Follow recipes and plating instructions accurately to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work station adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Properly store and rotate ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation in the cold kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
- Support senior chefs in menu development and implementation of new dishes
- Continuously learn and improve culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs
Qualifications :
- Culinary diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food safety certification (e.g. ServSafe) preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of cold kitchen operations and ability to prepare a variety of cold dishes
- Ability to follow recipes and plating instructions with precision
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic English language skills; knowledge of Thai language is a plus
