TechoBloc is looking for a Creative Merchandising Designer to take our trade show booths event installations and merchandising displays to the next level. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for experiential design a keen eye for detail and the ability to transform brand storytelling into experiences. From concept to youll oversee the entire design journeyresearching designing selecting materials and ensuring flawless installation.
What Youll Do
- Design creative trade show booths merchandising displays and event installations that enhance user engagement and brand storytelling.
- Craft mood boards sketches renderings and 3D models to bring ideas to life.
- Present design concepts to internal teams ensuring alignment with brand strategy and technical feasibility.
- Oversee all design phases from research and material selection to fabrication and onsite . Must be available for occasional travel 10 within Quebec Ontario and the USA. A valid passport is required.
- Collaborate with marketing sales and event teams to ensure designs align with campaign objectives and audience needs.
- Work closely with production logistics and vendors to source materials manage budgets and ensure timely .
- Lead onsite installations ensuring quality consistency and optimal user experience.
Qualifications :
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience in event design trade show booth creation or experiential merchandising.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (AutoCAD SketchUp); Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Deep understanding of brand storytelling spatial design and user experience in live events.
- Ability to manage multiple projects deadlines and logistics while maintaining creative excellence.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills to bring designs from concept to reality.
- Experience working with vendors fabricators and installation teams to ensure highquality .
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work effectively across departments.
- Ability to balance creativity with practical production and budget constraints.
