Hayward Holdings Inc. (NYSE HAYW) is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs manufactures and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps filters heating cleaners salt chlorinators automation lighting safety flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte North Carolina Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee Arizona and Rhode Island as well as Canada Spain France Australia and China. This position is based in Clemmons NC.
Reporting directly to the Chief Global Operations Officer the Global Director of Quality oversees the Hayward Quality Management System (QMS) across all global manufacturing and distribution sites. This leader will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop standardize and execute quality strategies that elevate our products and processes. As a key member of the Global Operations Leadership Team youll drive continuous improvement regulatory compliance and a customerfocused quality mindset across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and deploy the Hayward QMS across operations aligning with global objectives.
- Quality Excellence: Drive initiatives to reduce product failures and ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. Advanced Product Quality Process (quality controls plan PFEMA Supplier production part approval process measure systems analysis)
- Collaboration: Partner with Operations Engineering Warranty Regulatory Affairs and Customer Care to implement consistent processes and ensure customer satisfaction.
- DataDriven Improvements: Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance product and process quality.
- Audit Management: Ensure readiness for internal and external audits including regulatory inspections.
- Team Development: Build and lead highperforming quality teams at North American operations sites including Clemmons RI Nashville Phoenix Mocksville and Oakville.

- Foster a culture of accountability innovation and customer focus across global operations.
- Optimize quality systems from internal audits to supplier management and CAPA initiatives.
- Drive global quality initiatives to reduce warranty costs across all operations.
- Represent the Quality function on leadership teams and during regulatory engagements.
- Monitor and improve KPIs to ensure exceptional performance across all sites.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Physical Science with 10 years in quality leadership roles including 57 years in manufacturing management.
- Expertise: Proven success in designing and implementing quality systems and interpreting manufacturingrelated regulatory standards. AS400 and Advanced Product Quality Process experience are required.
- Global Perspective: Flexibility to work across time zones and travel up to 30.
- Skills: Datadriven decisionmaking collaboration and a passion for continuous improvement.
