Job Description
Summary
Torque Classic Cars is a small locally owned and operated vintage auto restoration shop in West Palm Beach. The Senior Accountant/Office Manager is responsible for accounting and financial reporting as well as supporting the Torque Classic Cars operations department with business administration.
Essential Functions
- Act as business knowledgeable advisor for all accounting/bookkeeping matters to the COO.
- Bookkeeping including billing accounts receivable collections cash applications accounts payable etc.
- Maintain the general ledger including setting up GL accounts.
- Financial Statement Preparation.
- Sales Tax Reporting.
- Implement and maintain inventory management system.
- Forcasting.
- Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.
- Perform other accounting and operational duties/projects as requested by the COO.
Required Competencies and Experience
- Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Quickbooks experience a must.
- Computer proficiency.
- Professionalism Integrity and Ethics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- 3 years Accounting or Bookkeeping experience.
