Job Description
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong knowledge in Shell Scripting UNIX and Application Support (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in using Rest and SOAP protocols to facilitate effective communication and data exchange.
- Experience in working with XML for data representation and information retrieval processes.
- Proven ability in production support ensuring smooth operation of applications and addressing any disruptions promptly.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail to identify and fix issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve environmental configuration and application support processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to achieve company objectives.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and stakeholders conveying technical concepts clearly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the application environment to ensure all systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Perform Shell Scripting to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide handson support for UNIXbased systems troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to improve system reliability and functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Rest and SOAP services into existing and new applications.
- Assist in managing XML data exchanges ensuring accurate and timely transfer of information.
- Contribute to production support by swiftly addressing and resolving disruptions or system failures.
- Document and maintain detailed records of system configurations changes and enhancements for future reference.
