Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BASIS Administrator to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 79 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration ensuring the seamless operation maintenance and optimization of SAP landscapes. This role requires expertise in system upgrades performance tuning security and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer SAP systems (ECC S/4HANA BW PI/PO SolMan etc..
- Perform installation upgrades patching and migrations of SAP environments.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for SAP systems.
- Monitor system performance tuning and troubleshooting to optimize SAP applications.
- Handle SAP security user management and authorization setup.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support project implementations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and resolution of SAP BASISrelated issues.
- Manage database administration (HANA Oracle MSSQL DB2 etc. as part of SAP landscape.
- Implement backup recovery and archiving strategies for SAP systems.
- Work on SAP Cloud and Hybrid deployments (AWS Azure GCP).
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
79 years of handson SAP BASIS administration experience.
Strong experience with SAP installations upgrades and migrations (SAP ECC S/4HANA BW etc..
Expertise in HANA and other databases (Oracle MSSQL etc..
Proficiency in SAP security roles and authorizations.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
Good understanding of Cloud (AWS Azure GCP) and virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with OS administration (Linux Windows Unix).
Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
