Job Description
SiteWorker is seeking a fulltime Electrical Estimator to join our busy office and provide proactive and comprehensive support in the estimating department. Candidates must have previous estimating experience or experience as a journeyman electrician. We are looking for individuals with strong organizational skills attention to detail excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to their work.
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
- Review specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials for an estimate.
- Produce estimates using various methods (comprehensive median historical conceptual).
- Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for accuracy with plans and specifications.
- Meet with Project Management and operations teams to fully explain the estimate scope of work quotes and other details to ensure a successful transition.
- Ensure the timely completion of all estimates and clientrequired documents.
- Write scope letters including inclusions exclusions and clarifications for estimates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and additional specialized training required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ideal candidates will have at least two 2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
