Title: Technical Support Specialist
Location: Onsite in Albuquerque NM

Our client is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the renewable energy sector with over 30 years of experience. Were looking for dynamic selfmotivated individuals who are passionate about providing topnotch IT support. If you enjoy troubleshooting and solving technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!

What Youll Do:

As a Technical Support Specialist youll provide IT support both remotely and onsite. Your role will involve troubleshooting finding workarounds and resolving technical issues all while maintaining high standards of customer service. Youll need to be technically skilled selfdriven and highly organized with a strong focus on customer care. As a key player on the IT Infrastructure team you will be the first point of contact for end users technical needs. Additionally you will be responsible for installing and configuring systems and peripherals.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain configure and operate computer systems
  • Install and upgrade computer components and software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
  • Document and provide specifications for planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades
  • Ensure timely resolution of desktop application and workstation issues
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 2 years of IT support experience
  • At least 1 year of experience with IT ticketing systems
  • 2 years of experience supporting MS Office applications (Word Excel Outlook)
  • 2 years of network/system administration experience including:
    • Networking software hardware and protocols
    • Helpdesk and IT operations best practices
    • Developing and implementing IT strategies
  • Strong knowledge of computers networks and software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Detailoriented and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Collaborative team player
  • Eagerness to learn new technology and software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Computer Science IT or System Administration
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment and across multiple teams
