Job Description

Cordia Resources has partnered with an organization in NW DC seeking an experienced Finance Manager (CGFM) to join their team on a temporary basis with the possibility of a temptohire conversion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solely responsible for managing the annual audit
  • Oversee budgeting and financial reporting including SF133
  • Ensure compliance with OMB A136 and A123 regulations
  • Maintain a strong understanding of government treasury and finance processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and transparency
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and external auditors

Qualifications:
Certified Government Financial Manager CGFM or (CPA) highly preferred
57 years of experience in finance accounting or government financial management
Strong knowledge of federal financial regulations and reporting standards
Exceptional communication skills are a must
Ability to work independently in a nonsupervisory capacity
