Job Description
The Assistant Director of Campus Events supports the planning and of campus events conferences and special programs by coordinating logistics facilities technology and equipment needs. This role also supervises student workers and ensures smooth event operations.
Physical Demands
Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as required. Light physical activity; may include lifting up to 25 pounds standing and walking for extended periods. Minimal or limited exposure to physical risk. Some local travel.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required: Familiarity with conference facilities including catering technology and event equipment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate efficiently and build schedules to ensure successful office operations. Ability to execute both short and longterm goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse community. Knowledge of event planning and meeting coordination. Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
