Job Description
St. Joseph School Cockeysville is hiring a Middle School Religion Teacher / Campus Minister for the 2526 School Year. The Religion Teacher plans organizes and implements the St. Joseph School instructional program in a Catholic learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The teacher will establish a faithfilled environment demonstrate knowledge of content facilitate learning for all students following the prescribed curriculum model Gospel values be a contributing member of a professional learning community and participate in all required duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement weekly lesson plans consistent with curriculum guidelines that motivate challenge and engage students
- Assessment and grading including the use of PowerSchool
- Classroom management and all duties assigned to this teacher
- Participation as part of the faculty in all meetings and activities
- Integrate technology where appropriate to enhance instruction
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field
- MSDE Certified
- Knowledgeable in technology use and integration
- Knowledge of curriculum instructional methods/strategies and curriculum differentiation
- Able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
Range: $Annualized
