Job Description
We are seeking a creative Art Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Haringey from September. This is a permanent fulltime position. The ideal Art Teacher will deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a passionate Art Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons covering various mediums and techniques.
- Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
- Develop students artistic skills and creativity.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of art resources.
- Organise and potentially lead artrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Art.
- Proven experience teaching art at secondary level.
- Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
