The Role of a Chemistry Teacher

As a Chemistry Teacher you will teach across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 providing a challenging curriculum that sparks curiosity in students. Youll help students develop a deep understanding of chemistry while fostering critical thinking and problemsolving skills that will benefit them throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching Excellence: Deliver highquality engaging Chemistry lessons that motivate and challenge students. Encourage scientific inquiry and foster a passion for Chemistry.

• Curriculum Delivery: Teach Chemistry in line with the schools curriculum covering topics such as atomic structure chemical reactions and organic chemistry.

• Assessment and Student Success: Use effective assessment strategies to track student progress and provide feedback that helps students achieve their potential in Chemistry.

• ExtraCurricular Engagement: Lead or support extracurricular activities such as science clubs science fairs and trips that further enhance the students understanding and love of Chemistry.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a passionate Chemistry Teacher with the following:

• A Degree in Chemistry (or a related subject): You should be a qualified Chemistry Teacher with the appropriate teaching credentials and experience.

• A Passion for the Subject: We want a Chemistry Teacher who is deeply passionate about their subject and able to inspire the same enthusiasm in students.

• Experience Teaching Chemistry: Experience teaching Chemistry at both GCSE and Alevel is preferred. We are open to teachers who have a track record of success in motivating students to excel in Chemistry.
