Geography Teacher Outstanding School Surrey
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in Surrey is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their dynamic Humanities department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5. The school has a strong emphasis on fieldwork and connecting learning to the real world.
Responsibilities:
The successful Geography Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity about the world. You will cover a range of physical and human geography topics develop students geographical skills (including map reading data analysis and fieldwork techniques) and foster critical thinking about global issues. Assessing student progress and contributing to the Geography curriculum are key duties for this Geography Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Geography Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Geography or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level is essential. A passion for geography commitment to fieldwork excellent communication skills and strong classroom management are required. We are looking for an inspiring Geography Teacher.
