- Report to the Carpentry team lead to assist with production and fabrication of furniture as required.
- Willingness to learn new carpentry techniques and machinery operations as projects require.
- Address and resolve issues during the assembly process.
- High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills during the production process.
- Maintain product quality in adherence to company standards.
- Assist with the warehouse team during down times operating fork lift and preparing orders for shipment
Qualifications :
- Proven history of carpentry work on furniture pieces or related products
- Competent using wood working machinery power tools and associated hardware to perform a variety of tasks in the fabrication process. Attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills.
- Able to read and interpret work shop drawings blue prints and assembly instructions to produce product as required
- Knowledge of wood staining prepping and finishing practices
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team taking direction from the team lead
- Fluent in English (Spanish beneficial but not essential)
- Forklift certified or willing to complete a course upon hire
- Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day) and weekends as production needs require
