You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Deputy Vice Chancellor (Indigenous) works with colleagues across the University to successfully enable all aspects of Indigenous engagement learning and teaching engagement and research innovation in support of Griffiths strategic commitments.
Within the Office of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Indigenous) the GUMURRII Student Success Unit (SSU) exists to ensure Griffith Universitys Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander student success. With multiple learning centres and staff supporting students on all Griffith campuses GUMURRII supports one of the largest cohorts of First Peoples students at an Australian University.
As a Student Success Advisor youll be responsible for proactive frontline outreach engagement and support of First Peoples students. Working in direct partnerships consultation and collaboration with a wide range of internal and external staff and stakeholders GUMURRIIs Student Success Advisors play a pivotal role in achieving the highest levels of student retention progression and success.

What we can offer
There are two positions available one continuing and one fixed term (until 20 March 2026 both positions are full time and primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multisite University you may be required to work across other locations.
Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $ 91843 $ 97964 per annum 17 superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $107456 $114618 per annum.
