Catalents Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercialscale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a CenterofExcellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for standalone and integrated biologics projects.

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City MO is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in various aspects of IT infrastructure and support. As an IT Intern you will work closely with our Madison IT team on several key projects and daily operations. This role is designed to provide you with practical experience and a deeper understanding of user support IT infrastructure network management and asset management.

This is a fulltime hourly summer internship. The core hours are Monday Friday 9:00AM 5:00PM.

The Role:

• Assist in replacing 2 network cores and 3 switches including precutover testing and postmigration validation;
• Document network configurations and participate in downtime planning;
• Shadow engineers during MDF/IDF maintenance to learn rack organization cable management and HVAC/power requirements;
• Clean up and validate existing IT hardware inventory (e.g. laptops peripherals);
• Update data to ServiceNow CMDB ensuring accurate asset information;
• Organize ewaste recycling processes including decommissioning workflows and vendor coordination;
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to their implementation;
• Provide basic IT support to endusers including troubleshooting hardware and software issues;
• Document and resolve common technical problems;
• Shadow experienced IT professionals to gain insights into various IT roles and responsibilities;
• All other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program required preferably in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field;
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and IT hardware;
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes;
• Strong analytical and documentation skills;
• Individual may be required to sit stand walk regularly and occasionally lift 015 pounds;
