Job Description
** This is a Travel Nurse Position to Northern Remote Communities **
We are looking for highly motivated Registered Nurses who are interested in traveling to Northern communities for 46week assignments to help deliver health care to underserved communities. In this position you will be working in the OperatingRoom at a General Hospital.
Operating Room Nurses are responsible for using evidencebased practice to collaborate with other health care providers and provide care to patients during operations. This position is mainly scrub nurse duties with some opportunity for circulating.
This is a physically and emotionally demanding job working with marginalized communities who do not have access to a lot of resources. Straight time overtime and oncall shifts available.
Requirements
Must Haves
- Minimum 1year OperatingRoom Experience
- Valid RN license in good standing in your province
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR for Healthcare Providers
- Completion of a certified PeriOperative course
- Fully Vaccinated as per Health Regulations (MMRV TB test 2 COVID vaccinations at minimum)
- Recent clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
Nice to Haves
- Experience Working in Isolated and remote communities
- Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Critical Care Nursing Course

Pay
- $68 per hour for Straight time
- 1.5 times hourly rate for Overtime
- $4 per hour on call with minimum of 3 hours paid if called in paid at Overtime
- $5 bonus for first 100 hours worked
