These roster may include 2 weeks on 2 weeks off or 3 weeks on 3 weeks off working 6 months of the year and still be earning over $81000 base Super (Superannuation paid for all hours worked)

About the Role:

Were open to Expressions of Interest for Chefs and experienced Cooks for Fly in Fly out (FiFo) positions on our remote Oil and Gas mining camps. Ventias Cooks pride themself of creating hearty catering services to all fieldbased staff on our remote mobile camps to provide a home away from home in remote and diverse country across Queensland.

Our FiFo Mobile Camps roles allows you to work independently in the kitchen bringing your culinary skills and home cooked style meals to the table. You will be preparing a variety of meals from breakfasts snacks desserts nutritional and hearty dinners catering for approximately 835 field staff and report directly to the Camp Manager.

Duties:

• Provide high quality nutritious food to our employees & clients
• Manage and run the kitchen autonomously
• Cooking food prep cleaning of the kitchen & assisting with ordering
• Strict adherence to all HSE policies procedures & safe food handling practices
• Contribute with a high level of customer service
• Assist with transportation of meals general cleanliness laundry services and other ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience:

• Qualifications in commercial cookery food safety or similar are advantageous but not essential.
• Manual Drivers Licence mandatory
• Ability to pass a preemployment medical including drug and alcohol test
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain
• Current National Police Clearance Certificate or willing to obtain
• Flexible availability (including night shifts) with ability to work away from home for extended periods
