JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the property General Manager with a dottedline (functional) reporting relationship to the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources and will be an integral member of the property executive committee. As a member of the Human Resources organization he/she contributes a high level of human resource generalist knowledge and expertise for a designated property. He/she will be accountable for talent acquisition succession/workforce planning performance management and development for property employees using technology efficiently and coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner. He/she generally works with considerable independence developing processes to accomplish objectives in alignment with broader business objectives. Additionally he/she utilizes a Human Resource Business Plan aligned with property and brand strategies to deliver HR services that enable business success.

Reports to: General Manager (Direct) Regional Senior Director of HR (Functional)

Role Overview: As an integral member of the executive committee the Director of Human Resources will drive HR strategy talent acquisition succession planning performance management and employee development. This role requires a high level of HR expertise independence and alignment with business objectives.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Option 1: 2year degree in HR Business Administration or related field 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Option 2: 4year degree in HR Business Administration or related field 2 years of relevant experience.
Core Responsibilities

HR Strategy:

  • Execute engagement surveys and followup actions.
  • Champion talent management and diversity strategies.
  • Align HR initiatives with business priorities.
  • Lead succession planning and leadership pipeline assessments.
  • Drive performance outcomes and cost control through proactive HR approaches.

Staffing & Recruitment:

  • Balance talent development with business needs.
  • Facilitate selection and interviewing processes.
  • Optimize staffing and make strategic hiring decisions.
  • Develop and implement staffing strategies with hiring managers.

Compensation Strategy:

  • Stay updated on compensation trends.
  • Plan and communicate total compensation strategies.
  • Conduct internal equity analyses and address issues.
  • Implement recognition and incentive programs.

Staff Development:

  • Ensure HR staff are trained and responsive to employee needs.
  • Serve as a resource for employee relations.
  • Promote positive employee relations.

Requirements:

  • Will need to have the right to work in Morocco.
  • Will need to understand local labour laws.
