Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Oracle OTM
In this role the Oracle OTM Support Consultant is responsible for providing functional and technical support for Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). The role involves troubleshooting system issues assisting endusers monitoring integrations and ensuring smooth transportation operations. The consultant will work closely with business teams IT support and thirdparty vendors to resolve incidents and improve system performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for OTMrelated issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve errors in shipment planning and freight payment.
- Investigate workflow agent failures rate configurations and integration errors.
- Log track and manage incidents using a ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow JIRA).
2. User Support & Training
- Assist users with system navigation and functionality.
- Provide training and documentation for endusers on OTM processes.
- Guide stakeholders on best practices for using OTM.
3. System Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor scheduled jobs workflow agents and automation processes.
- Ensure realtime data flow between OTM and ERP WMS or other integrated systems.
- Perform periodic health checks and system audits to ensure data integrity.
4. Integration & Data Management
- Support OTM integrations with ERP (Oracle EBS Oracle Cloud SAP) WMS and external carriers.
- Troubleshoot data transmission issues in XML Web Services and APIs.
- Validate inbound/outbound transactions including order releases shipments and invoices.
5. Configuration & Change Management
- Assist with configuration changes (rates carrier profiles itinerary modifications).
- Work on system enhancements and minor customizations as per business needs.
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and regression testing for system updates.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Experience in OTM support or implementation.
Handson experience with OTM configurations (rates itineraries planning parameters).
- Understanding of workflow agents automation rules and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with SQL queries for debugging issues.
- Knowledge of integration tools (SOAP/REST APIs XML EDI Web Services).
- Strong understanding of logistics transportation planning and freight payment processes.
- Experience in OTM modules like Order Management Shipment Planning and Settlements.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in 24/7 support environments (if applicable).
- Strong communication skills for user interaction and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Oracle OTM Cloud or OnPremise experience.
- Experience in supporting global supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow JIRA or Remedy.
- Oracle OTM Certification (a plus). Must be graduated in Bachelor / Master Degree or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
- Ability to deliver under strict timelines
- Good communication and customer facing skills
- Should be flexible to work 24*7
