Job Description
Teledyne ETM located in Newark California is seeking a SeniorElectronics Technician. This position requires a variety of skills including testing high power amplifiers and other high voltage/high power devices; troubleshooting technical problems in coordination with our engineering staff; managing your workload to meet a testing schedule for a product line; troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems and/or subassemblies.
To succeed as an electronics technician you will need to be technically proficient familiar with Microsoft Excel detailoriented selfmotivated and able to manage your workload to meet a complex production schedule with multiple commitments. An Associate Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and/or 45 years of experience is desired.
Required Skills:
Proficient with multimeters high voltage power supplies oscilloscopes pulse generators and variacs.
Proficient in troubleshooting and problem solving.
Able to perform systemlevel testing/troubleshooting of various high voltage and highpower devices.
Analyze test and repair electronic hardware using electrical schematics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Preferred Skills:
Proficient in use of spectrum analyzer.
Familiarity with AGILE or an equivalent product lifecycle management (PLM) system.
