Title:Major Account Executive
Location: Cleveland OH
Summary:
The role of a Major Account Executive is to follow a repeatable solutions based sales process to sell to Enterprise businesses on or near our owned fiber network to meet and exceed quota. The Major Account Executive will be responsible for identifying enterprise level prospects which need highavailability connectivity. They will be running comprehensive discovery meetings presenting detailed solutions/proposals as well as demonstrating the Everstream differentiators.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sales Process
Territory Management and the identification of the Enterprise customers needing fiber connectivity.
Executing a repeatable sales strategy or business plan.
Selling the Everstream suite of Products and Services to Enterprise businesses to meet and exceed quota.
Business Acumen
Successful at interfacing at the CXO Level.
Experience working with a financial model to deliver solutions that meet customer expectations while delivering positive financial results to Everstream.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with supporting departmental personnel (OSP NOC Finance Etc. to improve the customer experience.
Market Penetration
Effective use of Salesforce to manage suspects to prospects prospects to opportunities opportunities to sales and sales to referrals.
Leveraging partners and resources to develop wider and deeper relationships within Enterprise businesses.
Ability to develop an activity plan to properly build and support a 306090 and 90 Day Funnel to deliver consistent sales results.
Requirements/Qualifications
B.A. degree in business or related field
7 to 10 years of selling and telecom sales experience
Proven sales experience and results with Enterprise and Fortune 1000 Businesses
Sales experience selling to the CXO
Desirable:
Knowledge and understanding of optical networking (Ethernet Internet) as well as Dark Fiber
Sales experience as a hunter as well as a farmer in a technology sales position
Understanding of data center and cloud backup and recovery
Microsoft Office
