Job Description
Job Title: Automotive Lot Porter
Job Summary:
Suburban Subaru is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Lot Porterto join our team in Vernon Connecticut. In this entrylevel fulltime hourly position youll play a vital role in managing and maintaining our dealerships vehicle inventory and lot. As part of the automotive industry we rely on your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure a positive customer experience and efficient operation.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers an hourly rate of $16.35 per hour paid biweekly. Eligible employees will have access to a comprehensive benefits package including:

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the dealerships inventory and lot to ensure a clean and professional appearance at all times
- Manage the movement of vehicles on the lot ensuring proper parking and retrieval according to designated areas
- Monitor and track inventory levels ensuring that vehicles are properly stored and displayed
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections for damage and report any issues to management for timely resolution
- Assist customers in retrieving and loading their vehicle purchases ensuring satisfaction and a smooth process
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly locked secured and accounted for at all times
- Collaborate with management and team members to improve inventory organization and customer service processes
- Follow all safety regulations and dealership policies to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
