Job Description

Summary of the Job:

To join our team we are looking for a driven and meticulous Data Entry Specialist I. You will be in charge of precisely entering updating and maintaining data in our databases in this entry-level role. Assisting our teams with information management and maintaining data integrity will be important tasks for you. We invite you to apply if you are passionate about statistics and have a keen eye for detail.

Principal Duties:

- Enter data into the organizations databases and systems with accuracy.

- Examine and confirm the completeness and accuracy of the data.

- As needed add additional information to existing files and records.

- Participate in data validation and cleansing initiatives.

- Preserve well-organized documentation and guarantee the privacy of important data.

- Compile and produce reports in response to managements requests.

- Work together as a team to enhance workflows and data entry procedures.

- Answer questions about data and help resolve any problems pertaining to data.

- Carry out other administrative duties as delegated.

Abilities:

- Strong typing and data entry abilities (minimum 40 WPM).

- Strong precision and attention to detail.

- Outstanding time-management and organizing abilities.

- An understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel and Access).

- Knowledge with databases or data management software is advantageous.

- Strong verbal and writing communication abilities.

- The capacity to function both individually and together.

- Proactive task-taking and problem-solving abilities.

Experience and Education:

- A high school degree or its equivalent is required; an associates degree is desirable.

- Prior administrative or data entry expertise is preferred but not necessary.

- It is advantageous to have a basic understanding of data management concepts.
