Are you looking to grow learn and contribute your skills within Payroll We are searching for a Payroll Specialist that will provide professional level support to our team as well as help maintain an employeeoriented culture. This position reports directly to the Payroll Manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience with fullcycle payroll processing.

Responsibilities

What will you do

Payroll Administration

  • Assist with processing weekly payroll for 1800 employees.
  • Process employee changes and verify payroll accuracy on a weekly basis.
  • Process garnishments child support orders tax levies state unemployment insurance and quarterly tax verifications.
  • Develop indepth understanding of payroll software and HRIS. Creates reports on demand.
  • Review employee timecards for accuracy and reconcile variances.
  • Reach out to managers and supervisors with questions and concerns pertaining to employee timecards.
  • Provide training materials and deadlines to new managers.
  • Monitor payroll email box.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files assuring accuracy compliance and confidentiality.
  • Support Benefits team as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

  • Is detail oriented organized able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Adapts to business priorities that change quickly.
  • Can multitask and handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem solving abilities decisiveness and flexibility.
  • Must have a strong teamwork mentality.
  • 3 years experience with fullcycle payroll processing (required).
  • Ability to work independently and employ effective time management skills.
  • Has experience in the following systems: ADP Workforce Now (required) Kronos Workforce Dimensions (preferred) iCIMS (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft tools specifically Excel (required).
  • Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
  • Has the ability to handle very sensitive information in a discreet confidential manner.
