Job Description
Ventia is seeking a Customer Service Officer/Storesperson at ourAustralian Defence Force Parachuting School in Nowra. You will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team by providing quality service to our defence personnel.
The benefits:
- One RDO (rostered day off) every fortnight usually on a Friday
- $28.62 p/hr super
- Working hours are 7:30am4:30pm (MonWed) and 7:30am 4pm (Thurs)

What youll be doing:
- Serving customers receiving scanning sorting and placing incoming goods on shelves plus preparing the training kits for courses
- Arranging equipment repairs and stock purchases through our computer systems
- Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site
- Management of all inventories receipts and delivery of goods
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
Our next Customer Service Officer/Storesperson will:
- Be an Australian Citizen eligible for a Defence security clearance (police check) and reference checks
- Hold a valid drivers licence and reliable transport is essential
- Previous customer service experience with a friendly nature
- Demonstrate strong computer skills and technical savvy.
- Have a hands on proactive attitude and be physically fit as the job requires prolonged periods of sitting walking and standing
