SHAWCO is a studentrun volunteer society and a standalone Nonprofit Organisation (NPO). This duality allows SHAWCO Education the unique opportunity to engage in a variety of projects and programmes. The overall goal for SHAWCO Education is to help support students (high school and university) in as many ways as possible through its projects and programmes.
- Design implement and manage the infrastructure supporting the management of information technology of SHAWCO Education. This role will focus on the infrastructure and allow the IT support and partnership to enhance the purpose of the sector whilst proper protocols and processes are maintained in the organizations.
- Create and maintain infrastructures that are integral to the management of SHAWCO Education
- Ensure that the IT protocols and process related to the sectors functioning are maintained and followed through relation to achieving outlined strategic goals with a specific focus on data management and the intellectual property of SHAWCO data collection strategies management of the general IT of the executive and leadership e.g. email passwords etc.
- Focuses on maintaining a relationship with all IT related partners specifically: the IT support staff DELL any other related IT relationships critical for this sectors functioning
- Relay any issues related to the IT infrastructures and IT support/partnerships to the Operations Executive on a regular basis through feedback
- Build a highly efficient IT team(general leadership/subcommittee) and supervise all team members
Requirements
Would serve as an advantage if pursuing the following degrees:
in IT computer science or computer engineering
Is well trained and skilled in IT.
