The Planning Land Use Strategy Housing and Infrastructure (PLUSHI) teams are the driving force behind the Departments strategic planning policy development rezoning and infrastructure projects all aimed at making New South Wales a better place to live.
The role
The Department has established the Employment Land Development Program to help improve the supply of industrial lands across NSW. With an immediate focus on the freight and logistics sector the program seeks to:
The program will respond to emerging trends and challenges across different industry sectors to maintain the pipeline. The role coordinates land use planning and infrastructure through effective stakeholder engagement and project management.
As Manager Employment Land Development Program you will lead the implementation of the Industrial Lands Action Plan to monitor and coordinate employment land supply and infrastructure delivery across NSW. This will help build a pipeline of industrial land that is welllocated serviced and competitive creating jobs close to homes supporting the construction industry and driving business investment.
This role is pivotal in managing crosssector relationships and collaborating with other government agencies local councils and industry to drive strategic land use outcomes. Leading a dedicated team of planning and policy professionals you will oversee complex project pipelines and funding arrangements to deliver developmentready employment land that supports economic growth and job creation.
