Job Description
- Steer endtoend procurement process management including strategy development implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Direct UPLs procurement strategy for research and development service partnerships
- Oversee the strategic selection and management of external partners for comprehensive R&D activities including new discovery initiatives preclinical assessments laboratory and field evaluations and clinical trials.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize cost savings cash flow and efficiency
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms pricing discount rebates and service levels.
- EndtoEnd procurement excellence through strategic process leadership vendor relationship development and crossfunctional collaboration with legal R&D (regulatory field R&D R&D Chemistry) and project teams both locally and globally while optimizing costs and ensuring financial governance.
- Implement and maintain procurement systems and databases
- Responsible for project management project derisking procurement strategy development operations and governance management with global international CROs.
- Lead negotiations by conducting reverse auctions direct negotiations technical proposal reviews and commercial gap analysis.
