Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $56000$65000 (based on experience)
• $2000 signon bonus
• 7 paid personal days annually

Your DaytoDay As a K3 teacher at CLA youll:

• Deliver structured direct instruction in reading writing math science and social studies
• Implement Spalding Phonics and Core Knowledge curriculum with fidelity
• Plan and lead explicit standardsbased lessons using the I do we do you do model
• Reinforce routines that promote focus responsibility and engagement using practices informed by Teach Like a Champion and brainbased strategies from Quantum Learning including purposeful transitions memoryenhancing tools and an environment that supports emotional safety and motivation
• Monitor student progress using realtime data reteaching and differentiating as needed
• Create a wellmanaged classroom environment where expectations are clear learning is prioritized and students feel confident and capable
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure student success across content areas
• Communicate regularly with families to support academic growth and character development

Minimum Requirements

• Colorado teaching license OR Bachelors degree with 36 credit hours in elementary education or passing Praxis scores
• Completion of the 45hour Colorado READ Act teacher training OR a passing Praxis 5205 score 159 or higher)
• Prior experience with Spalding Phonics or structured literacy preferred
• Excellent communication organization and classroom management skills
• Previous teaching experience or comparable work with children strongly preferred
• Satisfactory background and reference checks
