Ready to join the future of innovation in Human Resources Information Systems at NXP
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team supports NXP and the Global HR organization with the HR systems technology that serves as the companys HR engine. HRIS supports the functions of employee master data recruiting talent and performance learning advanced compensation and many other employee lifecycle functions. NXP utilizes the Workday SaaSbased Human Capital Management (HCM) platform to serve over thirty countries in multiple operating languages.
We need your experience initiative and continuous process improvement ideas to support and enhance this critical business application to create a distinctive competence in HR systems technology at NXP. As a Workday HRIS Specialist your challenge will be to serve as the bridge between the critical human resource management needs of NXP and the technology required to optimize the experience for the manager employee and Human Resources professional alike.
Your responsibilities
- Analyze client business requirements in context of existing and potential future systems capabilities
- Design optimal global solutions for HR Centers of Expertise regional HR Operations leads HR HelpDesk Finance and Compliance while addressing mandatory countryspecific variations. Review plans from other teams and assess potential impact to the HRM and HRIS team. This includes also M&A activities.
- Lead plan and design overall system configuration strategy and approach on assigned functional area.
- Collaborate with HRIS and HR Center of Excellence subject matter experts to support specific HR system functionality
- Conduct indepth testing of new or enhanced functionality through development and of test plans scripts and use cases as appropriate
- Identify design and implement process and technical improvements to improve the users experience
- Depending on the applicants qualifications/skills: Functionally lead other local Workday specialist(s)

Your profile
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Information Technology Human Resources Quality Operations Research or a related discipline. Masters Degree preferred
- Minimum fivetoseven years of experience in systems configuration/maintenance/design problem triage and resolution testing implementation. A more senior position will be considered based upon the candidates skills qualifications and experience
- Extensive Workday experience required (Business Processes Condition & Validation Rules Calculated Fields Settings etc.
- System configuration experience as well as business process design and understanding impact of decisions on related systems and procedures.
Furthermore you are:
- One who actively pursues and advocates process and systems improvement opportunities
- Able to work exceptionally well under minimal and/or remote supervision as an individual and as part of a globally dispersed team
- Disciplined with strong organizational and time management skills including ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react effectively to shifting priorities and ambiguous situations
- Wellversed with both written/verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into easily understood language tailored to various audiences
- Recognized for superior work ethic and contribution to achieving assigned goals and objectives
