Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrics/Gynaecology to join our team at People Tree Hospitals. As a Consultant Obstetrics/Gynaecology you will play a key role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. You will work collaboratively with a team of skilled doctors and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. This is a fulltime position based in Bangalore Urban Karnataka India.
Qualifications and Skills
- MBBS degree with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Valid medical license to practice as a Consultant Obstetrics/Gynaecology
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as a Consultant Obstetrics/Gynaecology
- Specialization in laparoscopic surgeries and advanced obstetric procedures
- Strong understanding of current best practices in obstetrics and gynaecology
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to make accurate diagnoses
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation and medical care to patients in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions related to pregnancy childbirth and female reproductive system
- Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections hysterectomies and laparoscopies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care to pregnant women
- Monitor and evaluate the progress and wellbeing of patients
- Educate patients on reproductive health family planning and preventive care
- Participate in medical research conferences and seminars to stay updated with advancements in the field
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in patient care
