Job Description
Position Title: Agricultural Maintenance Mechanic
Position Type: Regular FullTime
Position Location: Plover

Schedule: Day Shift
Key Responsibilities: In this role you willensure the mechanical and electrical functionality of our plant and field equipment while maintaining compliance with safety quality state federal and company guidelines. In this handson role youll inspect maintain modify fabricate and repair agricultural machinery and systems troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to reduce downtime and costs. Youll also perform routine and emergency maintenance keep detailed records in our CMMS system and ensure clean organized workspaces that meet food safety standards. Working closely with project managers contractors and engineers youll provide technical expertise while staying up to date on OSHA NEC/70E and other regulations. A valid forklift license is required and you may occasionally oversee temporary contract workers.
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate commitment to personal product asset and site safety.
- Must proactively follow all PPE requirements safety policies and safety regulations.
- Must demonstrate electromechanical aptitude technical proficiency and consistent attention to detail.
- Must display workrelated initiative independence and selfmotivation to work with minimal supervision.
- Must possess own tools to safely perform assigned tasks.
- Must comprehend mechanical drawings electrical prints asset schematics wiring diagrams etc.
Skills:
- Experience with or training on working safely with 480volt 3phase power.
- Basic knowledge of power distribution control wiring and related components.
- Basic understanding of PLC functions.
- Basic understanding of VFD functionality and servo or process controllers.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and oneforone component replacement skills including methods to acknowledge and interpret basic VFD faults. This position is not intended to include PLC VFD servo or instrumentation installation or programming.
- Must be capable of communicating complex and technical operational and procedural data in terms understood by nontechnical operators both verbally and in written form. Must occasionally work outdoors exposed to environmental conditions intense noise chemicals and fumes.
- Job tasks will occasionally require extensive physical effort in awkward positions.
