Maintenance Manager
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: 65000 Bonus Pension Life Insurance
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am5pm (Days)
Are you a proven leader in engineering with a passion for driving performance and improvement in fast-paced manufacturing environments
Synergi Search & Select are proud to partner with a high-performing manufacturing organisation in Bedfordshire seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and develop their engineering function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic hands-on leader with an electrical background to drive positive change in a key site role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead motivate and develop a multi-skilled team of Engineers
- Manage and oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Control engineering budgets and lead site CAPEX projects
- Champion continuous improvement and deliver OEE gains
- Uphold site Health & Safety compliance and engineering standards
- Provide hands-on support when required balancing strategic goals
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to enhance site performance
- Previous experience as a Maintenance or Engineering Manager within manufacturing
- Electrical bias and strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens Mitsubishi)
- Proven ability to deliver CAPEX projects and manage budgets
- Strong leadership skills with a track record in team and stakeholder development
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
- Experience working in fast-paced high-volume sectors such as FMCG or industrial manufacturing
- 65000 base salary
