We are seeking an experienced GL Specialist with Italian (m/f/d) to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a detailoriented professional to contribute significantly to our financial operations and reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for of operational subprocess
- Drive the timely completion of monthly financial closing activities
- Conduct indepth balance sheet analyses and reconciliations
- Maintain General Ledger master data and ensure data integrity
- Prepare VAT declarations in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Fixed assets accounting
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports
- Assists in implementation of activities to streamline and standardize operations including operational metrics
- Support financial statement preparation and reporting
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes
- Partner with crossfunctional teams to support strategic decisionmaking
- Assists Team Lead as needed; participate in special projects
- Proactive resolution of daytoday issues
Qualifications
To be successful in the role we need you to:
- Have Minimum 2 years of General Ledger experience required (former experience with US GAAP)
- Graduate min. BSc. degree or equivalent in Accounting
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English and/or Italian (B2 level)
- Very good knowledge of SAP ERP or Microsoft Dynamics Navision
- Have advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel expertise
- Demonstrate ability to work on and own initiatives
- Have organizational skills be openminded and receptive to change
- Assess situations to determine the importance urgency and risks then make clear and timely decisions
- Be selfreliance and ability to escalate appropriately
