Join the team at JP Morgan Chase that is making a difference across the Controls Governance agenda at one of the most innovative banks. We are part of the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) controls organization driving strategic initiatives and ensuring effective oversight.

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving solutions As an Associate in the Controls Governance team youll support the CIB Chief Control Manager in delivering executive controls reporting and interacting with senior management. Be part of a dynamic team that partners with control managers risk and compliance to enhance our governance framework.

As an Associate in the Controls Governance team you will support the CIB Chief Control Manager with executive controls reporting and governance tasks. Collaborate with stakeholders across the CIB to ensure effective oversight of the CIB BCC governance framework and communicate controlrelated issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of key governance tasks including Business Control Committees and Regulatory Interactions.
  • Implement and maintain an effective Operational Risk framework.
  • Partner with CIB Control Managers to maintain a robust escalation framework and deliver messaging to senior management.
  • Assist with Controls Governance aspects of regulatory exams and inquiries.
  • Develop and implement Operational Risk analytics to identify risks and measure the CIB Risk & Control environment.
  • Provide Operational Risk advice to senior management and conduct independent reviews.
  • Maintain Operational Risk Standards & Procedures and lead change implementation.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Excellent coordination analytical and quantitative skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to summarize information and synthesize key messages for senior audiences.
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work well across global groups and disciplines.
  • Energetic selfmotivated and effective under pressure.
  • Wellorganized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative style and ability to partner across global time zones.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience with additional tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
