Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our team and lead key engineering projects with a focus on defense.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to completion ensuring they meet scope quality and timeline requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans timelines and budgets.
- Oversee crossfunctional teams including engineering procurement and testing teams.
- Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to define project goals objectives and deliverables.
- Manage project risks and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with defense industry regulations standards and safety protocols.
- Prepare and present regular project status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Lead project team meetings and ensure clear communication between team members customers and external partners.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across projects.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Project Management or a related field (Masters preferred).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 810 years of experience in project management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the defense industry.
- Proven experience managing largescale defense engineering projects.
- Indepth knowledge of defense industry regulations compliance and safety standards.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Experience with budget management resource allocation and risk management.
