POSITION SUMMARY


The Sales & Partnership Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives while fostering strong relationships with partners. This role involves identifying new sales opportunities building lasting connections with key stakeholders and ensuring the organization achieves its business development goals. By maintaining a deep understanding of the organizations offerings and market trends the Sales and Partnerships Leader serves as a trusted advisor to both clients and partners.


Additionally this role is focused on cultivating and managing strategic partnerships to enhance the organizations service delivery and expand its reach. The Director of Sales and Partnerships collaborates across departments to align sales and partnership strategies with broader organizational objectives ensuring a seamless and unified approach to growth and client satisfaction.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational revenue goals.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation prospecting and networking.
  3. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline providing regular status updates to leadership.
  4. Identify establish and nurture relationships with key strategicpartners to enhance service offerings and expand market reach.
  5. Negotiate partnership agreements ensuring mutual value and alignment with organizational goals.
  6. Act as the primary point of contact for partners addressing needs and facilitating collaboration.
  7. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients partners and staff understanding their needs and aligning tailored solutions.
  8. Represent the organization at industry events conferences and networking opportunities to build brand visibility.
  9. Conduct regular checkins and performance reviews with partners to ensure successful collaboration.
  10. Work closely with internal departments to ensure alignment between sales and partnership efforts.
  11. Provide feedback to internal teams based on partner and clientinsights to improve offerings.
  12. Coordinate with leadership to align sales and partnership goals with broader organizational objectives.
  13. Track and analyze sales and partnership performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and use data insights to refine sales and partnership strategies for continuous improvement.
  14. Prepare and present reports on progress opportunities and challenges to leadership.
  15. Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities.
  16. Identify emerging opportunities and threats to adapt strategies accordingly.
  17. Provide guidance and training to team members involved in sales and partner relationships.
  18. Stay current on best practices in sales and partnership management.
Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Fouryear degree in businessrelated field or equivalent work experience is required.

2. Proven experience and skill in leading and developing people.

3. Experience in working effectively with technical personnel.

4. Extensive knowledge of credit union operations regulations and procedures.

5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to work closely with credit union senior management third party vendors and principals of potential Xtend business partners.

6. Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential data.

7. Ability to travel frequently to client sites to provide support consultative services and codevelop new strategic initiatives.

8. Extensive experience in selling and marketing data processing and software products to the credit union/banking industry.

9. Experience developing and implementing longterm sales and marketing strategies.

10. Selfdirected able to take initiative.

11. Must have a strong understanding of the product development process and the ability to think strategically while managing multiple projects.

12. Must be able to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences.

13. A strong understanding of the product development process as well as experience in market research competitive analysis and product launch are all necessary for the success of this role.

14. Must be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

Xtend operates in a professional office building setting. Some job assignments at Xtend are primarily conducted within the office building(s) while others have moderate to extensive travel responsibilities as described in the Job Functions and/or Job Qualifications section(s) above. Travel: Travel between Xtend network partners and our credit union partners as needed. There may be additional travel to conferences or seminars outside of Michigan for education purposes.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand sit talk hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone. The employee must be able to see within normal vision range. The individual must have manual dexterity to operate a keyboard and mouse.
