Job Description
Per diem positionUnion Hospital.Under the supervision of the Director of Development and Corporate Communications provides medical translation/interpreter services for the Medical Center. Responsibilities include assessing the needs of nonEnglish speaking and/or hearing impaired patients and providing assistance by interpreting procedures consent forms and any other patient related information. Maintains an ongoing relationship with community groups and is actively involved with community agencies.Experience: Required: 1 year experience as in interpretation services requiredEducation/Degree requirements: Required: 2 years of post high school education required. Education/Degree requirements: Required: 2 years of post high school education required. Must be able to pass LSA testprior to hire.
