Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in psychology or closely related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment; at least one semester of experience teaching psychologyrelated courses and/or serving as a teaching assistant for psychologyrelated courses. Clinical and Counseling Psychologists degrees must be from an APA or CPA accredited program.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate one or more of the following qualifications: doctoral degree in psychology or closely related field from an accredited institution; experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level in a psychology program or a closely related field; experience teaching courses or a history of applied work or academic research in a field of psychology that encompasses one or more of our departments areas of academic/research concentration (bio/neuro psychopathology/clinical social/diversity industrial/organizational cognition/learning development and/or stats/research); and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. While applicants from any area of psychology or related fields are welcome to apply special consideration will be given to applicants who teach or have experience in the areas of neuroscience (e.g. neuropsychology cognitive neuroscience) health services (e.g. mental health counseling and/or clinical or counseling psychology with a forensic focus) and/or social psychology with a diversity focus.
