JOB Lead Control Systems Engineer
LOCATION Leicestershire
TERM Permanent
SALARY Competitive depending on experience
A Leicestershire based engineering company are looking for a Lead Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Lead Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- HND of equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
- Strong background in Control Systems Engineering modifications & commissioning.
- Good understanding of PLC softwares such as AllenBradley & Siemens.
- Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Full UK driving license is beneficial.
The Control Systems Engineers duties will involve:
- Developing the existing control systems for current & future projects.
- Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels.
- Involvement in R&D.
- Commissioning work before handover to customers.
- Occasional attending site visits when required.
- Providing support on installations when required.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
- Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
