What youll do...

What youll do:
Ensures workplace safety by enforcing proper use of safety equipment maintaining clean and hazardfree work areas and requesting necessary materials and repairs.
Manages daily production operations including planning work schedules monitoring processes for quality and effectiveness inspecting materials/products/equipment assisting with production sequence planning to meet goals and provide excellent customer service addressing associate performance concerns and analyzing departmental reports.
Fosters a continuous improvement (Lean) culture by documenting and implementing new and improved processes participating in new hire and ongoing training and providing guidance on waste control quality management and process effectiveness.
Coordinates and oversees jobrelated activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability and measuring progress identifying improvement opportunities and promoting adaptability and continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring and training mentoring assigning duties recognizing performance and ensuring diversity awareness.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
What youll bring:
2 years supervisory experience in a related environment (for example logistics / supply chain dairy plant food processing manufacturing).
2 years experience in clericalrelated responsibilities (for example filing data entry) and computer applications (for example email spreadsheets Microsoft Office PowerPoint Visio).
Nice to have: Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain manufacturing food science or related area.
Nice to have: 3 years supervisory experience in a dairy plant food processing or manufacturing environment.
Nice to have: 3 years packaging experience within a related environment (for example dairy production food processing manufacturing).
