Job Schedule:Multiple Shifts4/10: Employees work 10 hours per day 4 days a week 1st shift & 2nd shift) OR 3/12: Employees work 12 hours per day 3 days per week (Weekend Day Shift)
Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking an Engineering Technician C to join our team.
Essential Functions:
- Performs troubleshooting of complex digital and RF fixtures including dismantling adjusting repairing calibrating aligning assembling and operating according to engineering drawings schematics and documentation
- First line of defense in resolving daily test issues impacting troubleshoot environmental or up flow test for manufacturing and operations
- Monitors station utilization and downtime and reports out to the TE Lead
- Assists manufacturing technicians by answering questions and providing training on test systems and troubleshooting tools
- Create/Update station documentation items such as MTPs Station BOMs AMRs and TSWs
- Works in conjunction with PM coordinator and Calibration Monitor to maintain proper spare parts inventory for the FF test stations
- Troubleshoot complex digital and RF test systems
- Responds to operations support requests in the resolution of test issues impacting production
- Supports individual contributorWorks under limited supervision
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience 2 year postsecondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Understanding of manufacturing systems production processes technical standards and equipment
- 2 years of experience reading schematics and troubleshooting to component level
- Experience using MS Word and Excel
- Experience with LabView
- Experience with internal and external customers
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New York State is $25.48$47.12. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
