Engineering Manager/Plant Engineer
Allentown PA
ISCs team of Engineering Recruiters is partnering with a mediumsize global Chemical company to identify an experienced and innovative Engineering Manager/Plant Engineer.They are located about 50 miles from Philadelphia city center.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing coaching and leading the Engineering team.The right candidate will focus on ensuring the production facility operates smoothly and efficiently while meeting all quality control and safety standards.Exceptional and fun company to work for with exciting products!Tons of growth potential!
Engineering Manager/Plant Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Engineering management experience
- Experience working in the food & beverage chemical or other high speed manufacturing industrial environment
- Experience with PLC Programming and CAD
- Experience with writing SOPs and other technical documentation as well as creating workflow guidelines
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics in manufacturing plants
- Handson experience with Engineering Maintenance and Facilities
- Leadership experience with knowledge of automated equipment assembly electromechanical equipment and electromechanical design
- Positive adaptable and enthusiastic out of the box thinker with a strong desire to grow!

Engineering Manager/Plant Engineer Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design planning and implementation of various engineering continuous improvement and automation projects and programs
- Develop and oversee the design fabrication and installation of machinery equipment and mechanical systems to solve complex fluid handling mixing and manufacturing problems through research design and/or purchase
- Draft machinery equipment training documents and SOPs
- Develop project schedules cost estimates and manage the team according to project budgets and scope
- Ensure compliance manage relationships with vendors and contractors and collaborate with other department managers
- Develop and coach direct reports develop a sense of accountability and must be open to allow employees ideas to be heard while setting a positive example
