Job Description
Job Title:Assistant Football Coach / Spring Sport
Contract Length:220 Days
Reports To:Building Principal & Athletic Director
Teaching Field:Social Studies
Job Summary:
The Assistant Football Coach / Assistant Spring Sport Coach supports the development and success of studentathletes by assisting in coaching responsibilities for both the football program and a designated spring sport. This role emphasizes athletic skill development academic achievement and the promotion of sportsmanship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Football Coaching:
- Assist the Head Football Coach in whatever position group assigned developing game strategies and mentoring studentathletes.
- Contribute to the planning and of training sessions ensuring adherence to safety protocols and program objectives.
- Spring Sport Coaching:
- Assist in coaching responsibilities for an assigned spring sport including organizing practices developing competition strategies and fostering athlete development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and promote a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arkansas teaching certification.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
