QinetiQ US is seeking a Senior Long Range Fires/ Chain Subject Matter Expert to support technical projects for a government client. The highly motivated candidate will provide leadership and guidance through knowledge experience and their ability to effectively manage and oversee current and emerging Research Development and Technology projects. The candidate will help identify critical warfighter needs initiate new projects and provide program management and technical expertise in the areas of long range fires and chains to deliver impactful capability to the warfighter quickly.

The System Engineering Technical and Administrative (SETA)s primary responsibilities are to guide and support multiple programs through development and expansion into additional mission sets. Responsibilities will include program management engagement with Program Executive Office (PEO) and Combatant Command (COCOM) partners. Additionally this will include leading multidisciplinary multiagency integrated product team and providing critical advice to the Government Program Manager when gaps are identified. This position will also lead program engagements with multiple Services to foster program integration and operationalization.

• Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of longrange fires chains command and control (C2 and datalinks
• Interact with Service or Defense Agency Program Offices to leverage existing capabilities in new and innovative ways and to provide expertise in relevant technical disciplines.
• Provide routine administrative support to an RDT&E Program Manager including but not limited to scheduling industry days coordinating with vendors to develop performance work statements concept of operations integrated master schedules etc.
• Responsible for coordination of Planning Programming Budgeting and (PPBE) and coordinating with service contracting and financial analysts.
• Provides critical support in multidisciplinary multiagency integrated product team of professional acquisition personnel across multiple sites nationwide provide subject matter expertise in the areas of chains C2 and data links as they relate to long range fires and kinetic fires
• Leads development of acquisition products and materials in support of transition and transition partner Milestone Decision Authority gates.
• Oversee collaborative development of requirements and programmatic documents (MOUs SOWs Project Outlines etc. with Service stakeholders such as USAF and USN partners
• Special projects as desired

• TS/SCIEligible Currently hold an active TS/SCI or have held an SCI and have been debriefed in the last 24 months; #qinetiqclearedjob
• Bachelors in Engineering Physics Statistics Computer Science or Science
• Minimum of 15 years of program management operational and analytical experience
• Proficient in program management systems engineering and an indepth knowledge of one or more of the following: 1 Long range fires; 2 Long range weapon chains; 3 Communications networking internetworking in communications denied environments;
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint excel and/or other equivalent program management tools.
• Excellent communication skills ability to work in a team environment and be independently motivated.
• Travel up to 25 of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations (Alaska Hawaii UK and EUROPE)

• Acquisition or government program management experience highly desired
• Experience in Special Access Programs (SAPs)
• Masters degree
